George Carlin died yesterday - the 22nd - of heart failure. Or should I say George Denis Patrick Carlin.

The name George is of Greek origin, and its meaning is "farmer". Saint George was a knight who became the patron saint of England.

The name Denis is of French origin and is a variant of Dionysius. Saint Denis (third century) was the first bishop of Paris and is the patron saint of France.

The name Patrick is of Latin origin, and its meaning is "patrician, noble". The famous Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland.

The name Carlin is of Irish and Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "little champion".

Do you see what I see? One person - who died on the 22nd, near the time of the Summer Solstice - and his name includes the names of the patron saints of England, France, and Ireland.

The George thing is full of historic meaning - King George, George Washington, George Bush - the latter representing the excesses of America in the eyes of the world.

Denis - Dionysus - again representing excess.

Patrick - St. Patrick's Day - a day of excess.

Image Image Image

George Carlin - dead on the 22nd - and one of his primary comedy routines involved decrying the excesses of modern American culture. The message seems to me to be one of judgment.

The name Carlin also synchs up in interesting ways. There is a city in Nevada named Carlin. From Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlin%2C_Nevada):

Quote:
Carlin is a town located near the western border of Elko County in northwest Nevada, 23 miles (37 km) west of the city of Elko... Its slogan is "Where The Train Stops...And the Gold Rush Begins". Carlin was the home of the Native American shaman John Rolling Thunder Pope, who worked as a brakeman on the railway.... To the northwest is the Carlin Trend, one of the most productive gold mining areas in the United States... On August 12, 1939 a train operated under the name City of San Francisco derailed while crossing a bridge near Carlin, killing 24 and injuring 121. The wreck appeared to have been caused by sabotage but remains unsolved to this day."

August 12 is the peak of the Perseid meteor shower, named for the Constellation Perseus, which was itself named after the Greek hero Perseus who killed Medusa. Perseus contains the star Algol (the Demon Star or Eye of Medusa).

Image

Which reminds me of the Cerne Abbas Giant, who certainly appears to be a model of excess (as is the City of San Francisco, which is ironic considering it was named for the poverty-embracing St. Francis of Assisi):

Image Image

The Perseids meteor shower was called by some in Europe the "Tears of St. Lawrence," who was martyred August 10, 258. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Lawrence)

Quote:
According to lore, among the treasure of the Roman church entrusted to Lawrence for safe-keeping was the Holy Chalice, the cup from which Jesus and the Apostles drank at the Last Supper. ... According to Christian mythology, the Holy Grail is a relic that was sent by St. Lawrence to his parents in Spain. He entrusted this sacred chalice to a friend whom he knew would travel back to Spain, his home country. While the Holy Chalice's exact journey through the centuries is disputed, it is generally accepted by Catholics that the Chalice was sent by his family to a monastery for preservation and veneration. Historical records indicate that this chalice has been venerated and preserved by a number of monks and monasteries through the ages. Today the Holy Grail is venerated in a special chapel in the Catholic Cathedral of Valencia, Spain, in the region of St. Lawrence's birth and early life. ...Tradition holds that Lawrence was burned or "grilled" to death, hence his association with the gridiron. ... Lawrence is one of the most widely venerated saints of the Catholic Church. ... Lawrence is especially honored in the city of Rome, where he is one of the city's patrons.

August 12 is also called the "Glorious Twelfth" in the UK because it is the opening day of grouse-hunting season. That may seem unimportant, but I don't think it is, as I will explain later.

John Rolling Thunder Pope, aside from his intriguing surname, is worth looking into (http://www.wovoca.com/thunderpeople/) because he believed his people came from space. From his book Rolling Thunder Speaks:

Quote:
Some people ask me about where the Cherokee tribe came from. Some originated on this land, others from Atlantis, and before that we came from the Pleiades seven stars system. The seven-pointed star I wear represents the star we came from, and is the emblem of the Cherokee nation. Machines without wings brought our ancestors to Atlantis over ten thousand years ago. Even now some of our medicine men and psychics have very close contact with space beings from other worlds. Ancient people could out-think modern man by ten to one. They had greater technology than anything we have today in this society.

I wonder if there is a connection between the seven-pointed star and George Carlin's famous "Seven words you can never say on television"?

"Carlin" is also the French name for Pug dogs.

And this one is especially for Raybeam:
Image

This last one is named "Hutch" - a very similar name to a character played by Will Smith, co-star of the MIB pug ("Frank").

The Pug has a colorful history (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pug#Pugs_in_media_and_culture), and possibly this is the most important part of this whole post:

Quote:
The Pug was the official dog of the House of Orange. In 1572, a Pug saved the Prince of Orange's life by barking at an assassin. A Pug also travelled with William III and Mary II when they left the Netherlands to ascend to the throne of England in 1688.

From Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Orange):

Quote:
William I of Orange, (in English better known as William the Silent) became the founder of the House of Orange-Nassau.

In the late 17th century, the family also supplied a British monarch, King William III who is credited with causing the Glorious Revolution. People around the world still celebrate his battlefield endeavors and the progress in constitutional democracy brought about through his reign, namely in the Bill of Rights 1689, every year in a controversial festival commonly called "The Twelfth".

Quote:
Irish Protestants commemorated several events from the 17th century onwards, celebrating the survival and triumph of their community in the face of the Irish Rebellion of 1641 and the Williamite war in Ireland (1689-91). The first such commemoration was the anniversary of the 1641 rebellion on October 23, when it was believed that a plot to massacre all Protestants in Ireland had been narrowly averted. The second major day was the birthday of William of Orange, Protestant victor of the Williamite war in the 1690s on 4 November. Both of these anniversaries faded in popularity by the end of the 18th century.

The Twelfth itself originated as a celebration of the Battle of Aughrim, which took place on 12 July 1691 in the Julian calendar. Aughrim was the decisive battle of the Williamite war, in which the predominantly Irish Catholic Jacobite army was destroyed. The Twelfth in the early 18th century was a popular commemoration of this battle, featuring bonfires and parades. The Battle of the Boyne (fought on July 1 1690) was commemorated with smaller parades on 1 July. However, two events were combined in the late 18th century to switch the Twelfth comemorations to the Boyne.

The first reason for this was the British switch to the Gregorian calendar in 1752, which put the Boyne rather than Aughrim on 12 July. The second reason was the foundation of the Orange Order in 1795. The Order preferred the Boyne, due to William of Orange's presence there. It has also been suggested that in the 1790s (a time of Catholic resurgence) the Boyne, where the Jacobites were routed, was more appealing to the Order than Aughrim, where they had fought hard and died in great numbers.

If you've been reading Goro's work and following my Gaelic thread, I think you'll get the point.

More about "The Twelfth" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Twelfth):

Quote:
The Twelfth is an annual Protestant celebration on 12 July, originating in Northern Ireland. It is alternatively known also as Orangemen's Day or as the Boyne celebrations, commemorating the Battle of the Boyne in 1690, and the Glorious Revolution. It is occasionally known as the Glorious Twelfth, but that term is more commonly used to refer to 12 August [see above]. Members of the Orange Institution stage parades throughout Northern Ireland, England (mainly Liverpool and then Southport) and Scotland (mainly the west of Scotland)... The night before the Twelfth sees enormous bonfires lit in working class Protestant districts. These are alternately seen as friendly community get-togethers or occasions for drunkenness ...

Just looking a little more into the etymology of Carlin - or "pug". It seems the word pug comes from the Latin word "pugnus" which means fist (same root word as in pugilist).

As soon as I red that, I thought again of the red fist in the center of this picture:

Image

In my first post, I pointed out Carlin's "Seven words you can't say on television" and the "Glorious Twelfth". Notice on the poster above for the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco (home of excess) that the festivities occur between 7th and 12th Streets. The "Last Supper" pose, a la Da Vinci, tells us something is up there (no pun intended).

Pugs have also been called "figure-of-eight" dogs (I have no idea why). The 8 is certainly coming up a lot lately - as in analemma.

Image

Pugs are also called "dwarf mastiffs". I wonder if the pug is a sort of "Mini-Me" of the "great mastiff" that supposedly will "howl all night", according to Nostradamus? If so, then might the great mastiff be the House of Orange?

Image Image

Which begs the question, does Mike Myers resonate the House of Orange?
Image Image

Pugs are thought to have originated in ancient China. Chinese pug breeders would specifically look for either wrinkles or coat markings that would form characters from the Chinese language. The Pug's forehead wrinkles would be checked for the formation of the "W" shape, which resembles the Chinese character for "Prince."

That pug that woke up the Prince of Orange (Prince William the Silent), thereby preventing his assassination, was named Pompey, by the way.

Pompeii ........................................................... Prince William

Those who have been following the Nightmare on Elm Street/JFKLincoln thread will appreciate the fact that Prince William of Orange became Prince of Orange at the age of 11 in 1544. He was assassinated. Interestingly, he was the first head of state ever assassinated by use of a handgun.

William took on Fernando Álvarez de Toledo, Duke of Alba (also known as "The Iron Duke"), and their battles launched the "Eighty Years War."

How funny, then, that Mr. House of Orange Mike Myers is paired up with Jessica Alba in the Love Guru. Just after we've all seen Iron Man.

Image

Iron Duke ............................................ Iron Man

And to top it all off, here's Jessica Alba and her dog, Sid - the symbol of the House of Orange:

Image

Sid is short for Sidney - which means from Saint-Denis. Denis being the patron saint of France, and George Carlin's middle name.

But back to another synch with William of Orange. William had counted on intervention from the French Protestants (Huguenots) to defeat Alba, but this plan was thwarted after the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre on August 24, which signalled the start of a wave of violence against the Huguenots.

Guess what else happened on August 24 in history?

Pompeii

Funny, isn't it, that one of George Carlin's famous lines relates to Pompeii:

"Wanna know how the planet's doin'? Ask those people at Pompeii, frozen into position from volcanic ash."

With George Carlin's passing there may be one less living voice of truth but his spirit lives on in all of us who have been inspired by him.

I've heard that number jokingly referred to as "neighbor of the beast" but after looking it up it does seem to be associated for some with 666. This doesn't surprise me because Carlin's humor could be said to have a rebelious luciferian (as in devilish) streak. Some occultists believe 5 to be a number of death making 555 symbolic of highest death.

Here's what a couple of numerology sites had to say about that number:

"555 - When you see this sign a life changing thought or event has just occurred. You may not like it, or you may. Whatever the case your Spirit Guides are notifying you that a change in your life path direction has just occurred and it is time for you to change too. Move with it, follow these thoughts."

"Number 5 - Adventure, change, freedom, exploration, variety, sensuality, unattached, curious, experienced, periodicity, knowledge seeker, knowledge teacher, traveler, imagination, child-like, playful, five senses (taste, touch, smell, sight, hearing).

The number for Mankind is 555. 5 + 5 + 5 = 15 = 6"

FWIW

5 is the sacred number of "Shiva" (name means "auspicious")

His mantra has 5 syllables and he has 5 powers.

Penrose tiles feature 5-fold symmetry,

The tiling pattern requires rules to be followed in order to avoid gaps. An ordinary 5-sided pentagon cannot tile a surface without gaps.

But when the rules are followed the pattern will tile an infinite plane without ever repeating (proven mathematically) and shows the feature called "self-similarity." There are 64 unique ways a plane can be tiled using this method. Each has a unique center. One is called "Batman"

"Shiva" is officially the "God of Destruction" but prefers to see himself as the "God of Redemption" and healing. ;-)

He's akin to Pan (or Priapis) in that (in certain "incarnations") he wanders the forest with a permanently erect penis and seduces ("in them creates insane lust," so say the (likely male) narrators!) the wives of the "Rsis" (or "seers") who live there.

He is the "Lord of the Animals," so there is a "Pan" Sync. His mount/totem is the bull.

He's very multi-faceted, since he's also an hermaphrodite. (As with "Batman" you find the bi-sexual vibe.)

The little mini-me next to "him", with the elephant head, is the son of the "Goddess," "Shiva's" female counterpart.

"Shiva" (gud luk!) beheaded the son by mistake and had to resuscitate him. The only head available was that of an elephant. The child head itself apparently had gotten lost (I am a conspiracy theorist, so I'm wondering what happened to the original head).

"Shiva" subsequently made the child the leader of his army of strange ghouls- the "gana." So the son is called "Ganapati" - Lord of the Gana.

An hunter, a dog (dog star, "Hound of heaven"), and many more things - takes the form all all the cutlery in your kitchen (according to the "Rudrum" ( a section of "Vedic" hymn, part of the Rk Veda)), the ugly and the fair.

His friends are ghosts and the outcasts of society. He frequents cremation grounds and smears himself with ash as penance. His army are demons and monsters. He will afflict the enemies of his followers and has a bad temper. And is proud, also, to deserve the title "compassionate one."

He is worshiped by all the animals in the forest, who depend upon "him," and recognize him there, as (his form) the Sun.

All the pairs of opposites, called "Neela- Rohita" "the blue and the red" - represented by both ends of the spectrum, completely strange and perpendicular to everything which is "normal" or "right," totally pure, the original being and ground, pure "consciousness," without stain. "He" sees the world arise within "himself" as if witnessing a city arising in a mirror, the "mirror" of pure consciousness, which is the foundation and support of "reality."

Best language I can put it into, after reciting the hymns and studying about it for long years ago.

His old-fashioned name is "Rudra" which means (probably) the "terrible." I suppose Carlin was "terrible" to those who did not want to hear what he had to say. Ditto with Lenny Bruce.

The hymn to Rudra is used in a fire ritual.

555 determine the start and end triggersdates on a 1111 days awakeningstimeframe around a random monitored events day.

On the same day that George Denis Patrick Carlin died:

Dolores "Dody" Goodman (October 28, 1914 – June 22, 2008)

Born in Columbus, Ohio.

Goodman posed for photographs by Cris Alexander in the Patrick Dennis mock-biography First Lady, as Martha Dinwiddie's sister Clytie, who in the story married a European Count Przyzplätcki (pron. "splatsky") and perished on the S. S. Titanic.

And with my new-found obsession for Jacques Costeau-synchs I might add the following:
During the first expedition to the Britannic (Titanic's sister ship) in 1976, Jacques Cousteau used the SP-350 denis, the "Diving Saucer", for the exploration of the debris field.
